UCO Biomedical Engineering and Engineering Physics Advisement for Spring 2006
Monday October 24 - Friday October 28, 2005

Here are the steps BME and EP students need to follow for advisement:

All BME and EP students will have to undergo departmental advising before enrolling for the Spring 2006 semester

  1. Sign-up for an advising time at the Physics and Engineering Dept. (Howell Hall 221). TImes are available in fifteen minute blocks from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.. Make sure to pick the correct sign-up sheet - there is one for BME and one for EP.
  2. Carefully examine the Engineering Physics Flowchart (pdf) or the Biomedical Engineering Flowchart. We now have (thanks to Dr. Wilson) a new format for our degree plans in Engineering Physics as well:
Disclaimer: The department is in the process of integrating new courses into our regular course rotation. During the Fall 2005 and Spring 2006 semesters we will be offering certain courses out of sequence to accommodate students trying to graduate in Fall 2006 under our new programs.

Make sure you print a flowchart and check-off any courses you have already taken. Also indicate which courses you plan to take in the next two semesters. To ensure you meet the prerequisites for courses make sure you look at the UCO 2005-2006 Course Catalog.

  3. Get a copy of your transcript (a non-official one is OK).
  4. Attend the advising session you signed up for. Don't forget to bring your copy of your transcript and your flowchart or degree sheet that you used to plan courses for the next two semesters.
