The Webelos Scientist Badge is one of the Activity Badges earned by Webelos Scouts (4th and 5th graders in their final years of the Cub Scout program). Below is a sample guide that describes how we have approached teaching these Scouts the principles necessary to earn this badge. In addition to the teaching guide, several other materials are presented which will assist in presenting this program to Webelos Scouts. Internet resources for this badge are also presented. If you have questions or comments, please contact: Dr. Charles Hughes Department of Physics University of Central Oklahoma 100 N. University Dr. Edmond, OK 73034 405-341-2980 x5472 |
